This project uses the sculpture to reflect on the mode of mass templated production of the middle-class culture and the phenomenon of entertaining the social ideology and culture. With the support of capital, the middle-class culture devours the elegant culture in high speed and wide range, while the former is a kind of entertainment in essence. For example, the culture lacks guidelines, procedures, and standards except for popularity. However, the truth is covered up by the name of culture as a “fig leaf”. Therefore, I choose sculpture themed on pillows that highly represent their cultural state as the main image to appeal to the public to face the cultural retrogression and erosion. The project is presented in the form of a sculpture exhibition.
